Holding a Master's degree in Finance from the University of Sherbrooke and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from HEC Montreal, Mélanie Riendeau has nearly 25 years of experience in financial planning. She also holds the CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) designation and the Financial Planner title from the Institute of Financial Planning (IPF), obtained in 2011.

Mélanie began her career in institutional finance in the early 2000s, collaborating with prominent portfolio managers in investment product development and pension fund management. She has worked with the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec and the University of Montreal Employees’ Pension Plan. Since 2011, she has focused her expertise on wealth management and financial planning for individuals, professionals, and business owners, working for National Bank until 2017 and then with IG Private Wealth Management. Over the course of her career, Mélanie has specialized in strategic client support, with an emphasis on investment management and achieving their life goals.

A passionate lover of wide open spaces, Mélanie has been a sailing enthusiast since childhood. A captain-navigator, she teaches Sailing Canada certifications in her spare time. Like many clients, she dreams of an ideal retirement, which she imagines aboard a large sailboat, navigating the seas and exploring new horizons.
